It is confirmed that Seema will be doing the sequel to her 1978 pathbreaking Avalude Ravukal. Earlier there were reports that Shwetha Menon would be doing the sequel, which the actress denied.
IV Sasi directed Avalude Ravukal, was truly a trendsetter, the first ‘Adults Only’ film in Malayalam, about the life and times of a small time commercial sex worker in Kozhikode. It was Seema’s debut film that sky rocketed her to stardom, and later she married its director!
In the sequel to Avalude Ravukal, written by Alleppy Ashraf and directed by PH Hameed, Seema would now play a rich business woman and mother of an 18 year old girl. (SIC)
