Too Sexy for TV?

And you thought only Indians were TV prudes? Well, looks like the Australian Government has nothing better to do than debate TV standards.

First it was Gordon Ramsay's prolific use of the word f*** and now it is the outfits worn and lyrics sung by various artists.

Pussy Cat Dolls and 50 Cent have come under scrutiny for their suggestive dancing and provocative lyrics respectively.

It seems the Senate wants to ban sexy music videos on Saturday morning and even put warnings on various teenage magazines to stop "the premature sexualisation of children".

Like, hello, this is 2008 and teenagers will simply access the Internet if they can't get the music they want from TV or magazines.

There is no doubt girls want to dance like Nicole Scherzinger and guys want to bonk her. That is not going to change no matter what regulations you put in place.

Maybe, we should just sit back and enjoy the show. I certainly haven't heard any of my friends complaining when the Pussycat Dolls appear on TV.
