Shortly after the Vanity Fair airbrushing controversy, Winslet appeared at the red carpet premiere of The Reader in a knock-your-socks-off, cleavage-displaying, form-fitting steel-grey number, effectively putting to bed any doubts about her svelte hotness. Just as awe-inspiring as Kate's dress is her performance in the film: She plays a Nazi concentration camp worker who seduces a teenage boy - and somehow still elicits our empathy. That's talent.
