Beautiful yoga teacher turned heroine Anushka entered Telugu films with Akkineni Nagarjuna starred movie "Super" in Puri Jagannath's direction. Looking at the naive beautiful face of Anushka, no one can get angry, but a Tamil producer is furious with her.
It so happened that, this producer is remaking Telugu "Vedam" movie in Tamil with hero Shimbu playing the role Allu Arjun played in Telugu. Anushka, who is playing her role in Tamil also, told the media that she reduced her remuneration for this movie because of Shimbu and this has infuriated the producer. Anushka is said to have charged more than what the other Tamil heroines charge. Seems, producer's fury has some justification! (TO)

South Indian cinema’s milky white beauty Tamannah is acting in two big Telugu projects in this year. The first one happens to be opposite to Allu Arjun, which is titled as ‘Badrinath’. The second movie project happens to be with Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and it is untitled yet.
Both the movies had a promotional shoot recently, on which Tamannah mingled well with Naga Chaitanya and Allu Arjun. It is gossiped that Allu Arjun is said to be in awe with the nature of Tamannah and is seen recommending her in Tollywood.
Previously, Naga Chaitanya was seen recommending Samantha’s name in Tollywood. Now the youngster is seen chanting the name of Tamannah. According to sources, both the young stars are bowled over by the nature of Tamannah and the way she deals with her personnel and professional life.
Moreover, Tamannah is said to be very understanding and is a broad minded girl with a golden heart. This nature of her has impressed the two youngsters, to such an extent that they want their life partners to have qualities of Tamannah in every aspect. (HC)

This entire week has been a crucial phase for Silambarasan as he was busy holding discussions with producer R.B. Choudary over remaking the Telugu blockbuster Vedam. Finally, Silambarasan has revealed the film’s title as Vaanam (meaning ‘Sky’ in English) and the shooting started from July 10.
The official confirmations about other star casts and technicians will be revealed shortly. According to the sources, Anushka seems to have refused this offer as she feels that she may not be able to do justice to the character if she has to redo it. It seems the producers are holding talks with Aadukalam fame Tapasee for performing the female lead role while Manoj of Ennai Theriyuma will perform another lead role.
The original version featured Allu Arjun in the lead role of a cable operator while Anushka as a sex-worker and Manchu Mohan as a rock star. The film is about five different characters and how their lives are intercrossed on an unexpected day. (OI)

It is known news that the milky white beauty Tamannah who took a break of sorts after ‘Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam’ is currently working in two Telugu films. However, it is heard that she is not doing these two movies out of her own interest but a sword is hanging on her neck and she is compelled to do them.
To be frank, getting a chance to pair with Allu Arjun and Naga Chaitanya, Tamannah must jump in joy. But then, news is coming that Tamannah is doing both the films with disinterest and inevitable circumstances. Getting into details, all are aware that Tamannah made her debut into films with the film ‘Sri’ under the direction of P Dasrath and pairing up with Manchu Manoj. Though the film flopped, Tammu got a lot of attention, especially the attention of big producer Allu Aravind. Sensing out of his experience that Tammu has got a bright future as a heroine, it seems that he called her to his office and got into an agreement with her to do two films for their banner.
Since she was new at that time and didn’t have much craze, it is heard that Tamannah signed for the deal at a nominal remuneration. Not only that, since she got the chance to work with a big banner, she was all excited and thrilled about it.
But after that, Allu Aravind starting a party called ‘Praja Rajyam’ and busy earning crores while Tamannah scoring a super duper hit with ‘Happy Days’ and becoming a star happened. In no time, she also got the number one slot in Kollywood and her remuneration is currently Rs 1 crore. So, now that he has come back to full time film production, Allu Aravind reportedly dug out that old contract and sat on Tammu’s head to do the film or face consequences. Though he flopped big time in politics, apart from making crores and crores of rupees, given the influence and hold Allu Aravind has in cine circuit, Tamannah had no choice but to do both films at the earlier agreed price (approximately between Rs 10- Rs 15 lakhs), as per sources.
The final touch is that if both the films become a hit, then Allu Aravind has reportedly assured Tammu that she will get an extra sum. Reliable sources say that after working for ‘Magadheera’ for two years, Allu Aravind gave Kajal Agarwal a paltry Rs 18 lakhs, this is a point to note. (GA)

Hot Bindaas girl Sheena Shahabadi is daughter of the yesteryears Bollywood beauty Sadhana but then a buzz broke out stating Sheena was already married and divorced girl.
According to film nagar sources, Allu Arjun-VV Vinayak starrer Badrinath which replaced Hansika by Tamanna will now be replaced by this hot and cute Sheena. There is also news that, Sheena has got ready to offer a bunch of dates to VV Vinayak that too for just 15 lakhs. (GUL)

Miss India 2009, Deeksha Seth will be soon seen opposite our Stylish star Allu Arjun in his upcoming flick ‘Vedam’. Deeksha was also the winner of Pantaloon Femina contest for fresh face. This is the first project for Deeksha. Vedam also casts Manoj Kumar Manchu and Anushka in the lead roles.
Now the buzz is that the makers have spotted a new face from the north, who appeared in juicy poses in a newly released calendar. She is none other than the Miss India of 2009, Deeksha Seth. This beautiful young girl who also won the Pantaloon Femina contest for fresh face, has just started her career as a model.
