Tarun and Vimala Raman starrer new film ’Chukkalanti Ammayi Chakkanaina Abbayi’ has been completed its shooting part, currently the movie post production works are going on. Now the latest news is that the audio of this film will be released into markets on February 24th through Aditya Music.

It is being directed by Kanmani and is being jointly produced by Raju Hirwani and Gogineni Srinivas under Supreme Movies and Pranav Studios banners. Music has scored by Anoop Rubens. The movie is expected to release in March.(CHIT).

Chocolate boy Madhavan’s kiss scene with co-star Kangna Ranaut in his upcoming film ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ is the talk of the town now. Some of the pictures also rounding on the net. But hero R Madhavan denies kissing Kangna.

R Madhavan has clarified that he has not shot for any smooching scene with Kangna Ranaut for the romantic comedy, releasing on February 25.

"Guys – fortunately or unfortunately there is no smooching scene between Kangna and I in the film. I don’t know how such a story originated (sic),” Madhavan posted on his Twitter page.

In the film, he plays Manu, a guy from London who comes to India in search of a bride and falls in love with a small-town girl Tanu essayed by Kangna. (CHIT).

Veteran singer Malaysia Vasudevan passed away yesterday afternoon at a private hospital in Chennai. He breathed his last when he was 67. He was admitted last week due to cardiac problems. The singer is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.

Malaysia Vasudevan crooned over 8,000 songs in Tamil and sung close to 4,000 songs in different languages. He worked with many top music directors like MS Viswanathan, Ilaiyaraja, Shankar-Ganesh, AR Rahman etc. He lent his voice for most of the actors in Tamil film industry.

He started his singing career with Delhi to Madras. But it was 'Attukutti Muttaittu' from Kamal Hassan starrer 16 Vayithinile, which brought him under limelight. He forayed into acting with Oru Kaithiyin Diary and went on to act in 85 films in Kollywood.

Actor Kamal Hassan, Ilaiyaraja, Rajinikanth and many noted names from the Tamil film industry have paid tribute to Malaysia Vasudevan. A few celebrities expressed their grief on Twitter.

Director Venkat Prabhu tweeted, “Our uncle singer Malaysia Vasudevan passed away!!! RIP vasu uncle!!! Love u .”

Actor Siddharth tweeted, “RIP Malaysia Vasudevan. So many great songs. A legacy lives on... ”.

Actress Vishnupriya, who is debuting as heroine in a film titled Oodhari, fainted during the shooting, sending panic waves among the crew. This resulted in cancellation of the shoot for a few hours.

Balaji Prabhu, son of noted director-producer M. Baskar, turns producer with ‘Oodhari’, directed by Sakthi Krishna. Vinod and Vishnupriya are the debuting lead pair in the film. Though new to Kollywood, Vishnupriya has already starred in as many as four Malayalm films. Also had been making news with her interviews criticizing Asin and Nayantara, senior actresses from Kerala for their expose acts on screens.

Last week, while the shooting was in progress, Vishnupriya fainted all of a sudden. She was then to the caravan and a doctor was immediately called to Spot, who after attending to her, said it was just an ‘ordinary faint’ due to tireless work, weakness and not eating proper food at the right time.

After resting for a couple of hours, Vishnupriya was back in action and started her shoot for ‘Oodhari’.

Beautiful yoga teacher turned heroine Anushka entered Telugu films with Akkineni Nagarjuna starred movie "Super" in Puri Jagannath's direction. Looking at the naive beautiful face of Anushka, no one can get angry, but a Tamil producer is furious with her.

It so happened that, this producer is remaking Telugu "Vedam" movie in Tamil with hero Shimbu playing the role Allu Arjun played in Telugu. Anushka, who is playing her role in Tamil also, told the media that she reduced her remuneration for this movie because of Shimbu and this has infuriated the producer. Prabhu Deva and Nayantara’s marriage venue has been shifted from Hyderabad to Chennai after Nayan requested him to change. They are entering wedlock in mid-June in Tamil Nadu capital.

According to sources, Prabhu was keen to marry her in the City of Pearls. But later he changed it to Chennai. However, he has decided to host a big wedding reception for his Telugu and Bollywood friends in Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, Prabhu is yet to get divorce from Ramalatha. The estranged couple, who was in a bitter battle from past three months, has recently filed for divorce and agreed to part ways by mutual consent. (HC)

Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’ is all about sex, drugs and infidelity.

John Abraham shoots a bold scene with his co-star Priyanka Chopra. John is playing one of the seven husbands of Priyanka. The film has received ‘A’ certificate for the censor board. “Neither Priyanka nor John was awkward during the intimate scenes.

They are both very professional,” says a source from the film unit, who did not wish to be named. “This is John Abraham’s boldest role, ever. He plays a hedonistic character. He is seen bedding multiple partners, and even wears noodle strap tops and satin bows in bed,” adds the source. “We knew right from the beginning that we are making an adult film. The audience is mature, and it is not about specific scenes in the film,” says Vikas Bahl of UTV, the movie’s producers. (CHIT)

It’s been a while we heard some news from the Mankatha camp. Actress Anjali who played ‘Angari Theru’ lead joined the team at Mankatha. The reason cited for this new inclusion is that Dhayanidhi Azhagiri who produced ‘Thoonga Nagaram’ is taking up production duties for Mankatha too and hence the choice for Anjali.

The lady really enjoyed her experience and is excited to join the team, as she was quoted saying, “It was a wonderful experience .I am really blessed to be a part of the team and such a special offering by Ajith.

Others in the list include opposite lead Trisha, Action hero Arjun, Lakshmi Rai, Premji Amaren and Vaibhav playing important roles.
