Simran was one of the leading ladies during late 90's and early 2000 and at the peak of her career commanded a salary package of up to 75 lakhs per movie. She enjoyed a stupendous success in Tamil as well as in Telugu movie industry, as she acted with all the super stars of Kollywood and Tollywood.
Recently she entered into telugu movie field after her marriage with the movie “John Appa Rao 40 +”. As per the latest news Simran is now in USA for shooting of a Telugu movie for which she is charging Rs. 3 lakhs per day. When Producer intentionally extended the schedule to night shooting also, Simran is gossiped to have asked Rs. 2 lakhs per night as an extra amount.
