Kamal Hassan, the versatile actor of south India has confirmed the news that Trisha Krishnan will do the female lead role in his upcoming project. The movie will be produced by Udayanidhi Stalin and director KS Ravi Kumar will be directing this movie.
Earlier, names of Nayantara and Tamannah were doing rounds for this project. But, now, the news that Trisha is playing the lead has come up from Kamal’s mind. The actress was considered to play lead in the movie “Marudhanayagam”. But unfortunately, the project could not start on tie for various reasons. So, as a professional compensation, Trisha has been roped into this project by Kamal Hassan.
It is a fact that Kamal Hassan always selects his cast and crew of his films and leaves very less to the director’s mind. (HC)
